Can this help acne scars?
Absolutely! CO2 resurfacing is considered the gold standard for acne scarring. For significant scarring, we typically recommend medium to deep treatments rather than Cool Peel for the most dramatic improvement.
When can I return to work after Cool Peel?

Will I peel?
With CoolPeel, some patients experience light flaking on days 2-4, but not everyone does. It’s not the heavy, dramatic peeling you see with chemical peels or traditional CO2 lasers. Medium and deep treatments will have more noticeable peeling.
What's the most important aftercare step?
SUNSCREEN! After laser resurfacing, your fresh new skin is extremely vulnerable to sun damage. You MUST wear SPF 50+ daily for at least 3 months, avoid direct sun exposure, and wear a hat when outdoors. This isn’t optional—sun exposure can cause dark spots and undo your results.
Can I exercise after treatment?
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after Cool Peel. Sweating, increased blood flow, and heat can irritate healing skin and increase redness/swelling. Gentle walking is fine, but skip the gym for a couple days.
